RULES AND REGULATIONS

BOYD”S ONE STOP-TEXAS CITY DIKE, JUNE 14, 2008


ALL TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT AND USCG REGULATIONS SHALL APPLY AT ALL TIMES. (It is recommended but not required that kayakers wear a PFD)

ENTRY FEES: The entry fee is $50.00 per person, with teams consisting of no more than 4 fishermen. By signing the entry form you are agreeing to have read the tournament rules and hold harmless agreement and agree to be bound by it from the date of signature and forever in the future. Contestants may pre-register by signing the forms and mailing them to : Arabia Shrine Sportsmen, 34606 Jimmy Ln. Pinehurst, Tx. 77362, or enter on line at our web site. All pre-registered forms and $40.00 fees must be received no later than June 1, 2008. (To verify that your entry has been received call, Rudy Staudt, at (281) 356-6797) If you do not pre-register a fee of $50.00 must be turned in at the tournament site on June 14 before 9:00 AM. If pre-registered you do not have to check in at the site before fishing. An Arabian Sportsmen official will be at the tournament site at 5:00 AM to take last minute entries on June 14. 

WEIGH IN: At least one member of each team must be in line no later than 3:00 PM, NO EXCEPTIONS. The 5 trout stringers,  the 3 redfish stringers and the largest fish must be selected by the team before turn in. Minimum trout size is 15 inches, and only one trout may be over 25 inches. Only slot redfish may be turned in, 20-28 inches. The flounder pot fish must meet TP&W guidelines. No exceptions! Fish must be caught during tournament hours. In the event of a tie by weight, length will be used to determine the winner. If weight and length are both tied the first to check in will be the winner. NO POOLING of fish. Only fish caught by the team may be entered. Pooling of fish will result in both teams being disqualified. 

BAIT AND AREA: Any type bait is acceptable, artificial, live, or fresh.  You may fish any where in the Galveston area.
